ECLUB's OLE BAZAAR was really bizarre!! haha! it rhymes!!!
eclub got this booth at tampines town council where we sold tshirts, badges and socks
hangon... i'm gonna type it in a fairytale format...
once upon a time, there stood in the middle of a grassland, a HUGE inflated playground. terry and annabelle scrambled onto the inflated playground and started jumping, together with the dwarfs that were about half their size. they bounced up and down and fought the menacing evil inflated coconut tree and dinosaurs but soon they got tired.
they decided to leave the inflated playground and sit on the flying throne that was just big enough for their butt to fit into. the flying throne fly them in circles around and around a pole, but terry's feet could touch the ground so it wasnt really considered as flying.... the flying throne finally came to a stop, and terry stumbled and couldnt walk in a straight line.
although terry's senses were marred, annabelle's nose was as sharp as ever. she sniffed out the free popcorn stand and while queueing, they met the reknown friendly dinosaur- barney!! but this barney was pink.
fairytale ends here.
then the host asked 5 kids to go on stage, but only 3 kids volunteered, so terry and i volunteered ourselves.
host: "how old are you?"
kid 1: "5"
host: "how old are you?"
kid 2: "7"
host: "how old are you?"
kid 3 "4"
host: "how old are you?"
kid annabelle: "5"
host: "5 + 10!!"

okaay... we had to play this game where we dance and dance and dance and freeze when the music stops. terry and i were doing the famous chinese opera on stage.. but then the evil hostess managed to tricked us of the stage. imagine: the wicked witch giving snow white a poison apple. (no link)
yalor.. then go off stage and collect my prize, and get humilated by the other eclubers and the volunteers that i met later on in the day. hahaha! i LOVE it!

oooh! another one of dad's company functions today!!! we got free tickets to watch this musical
<--------- and also a buffet lunch. I SAW A TJC TEACHER THERE. she taught me math in ta1 for 1 term, but i think she forgotten me already lah :( anyway, i THINK she and her husband gatecrashed. (emphasis on THINK) cos she and her hubby where just sitting there and eating and talking among themselves. usually there should be people going: "hey! good to see you here!!" or them talking to someone. nvm.. annabelle... LEAVE IT! then my mom's ex-colleagues came up to me and say: "Annabelle! i've seen you when you were this little! *does hand action to estimate my height then*" okay... thanks!! yeah.. i recall receiving anoynomous (to me) presents from my mom's collegues cos i would call my mom's office more than 3 times once a day and her collegues will pick up the phone. hm... so they know me and i dont know them, and i get christmas presents!! this is what i call fair trade agreement!!!! and annabelle hasnt changed much since... still love calling people on the phone and talking for looong loooooong periods of time, and still as immature. need evidence?? this a note my friend wrote to me in P6:

elaine came over today, and brought along a looot of foooooood <3
2 boxes of doughnuts! (i havent eaten them for a looong time)
chips! (return to her cos it's chilli flavoured)
chocolates! (return to her cos i dunno...)
polar's food! (we ate it... nah... just kidding)
and we baked marshmellow chocolate cake!!
okay, i'm going to reveal the ingredients to you:
flour, butter, sugar, egg, water, cocoa powder, baking soda, marshmellows + secret ingredient
heehee. i didnt get tummy ache... neither did her parents... (although we found a strand of polar's hair inside.... ugh!!)

Today's the EXORO competition.
terry and i were in the same team....and we were competing against RJ...
we stored our fake money in a pocky box <3
of course we didnt win, but i managed to perform chinese opera and my magic coin trick for the organiser... and terry and i made him laughed so much until he said:
"you are banned from the future competitions!"
hahaha. what?!
at night uncle derek came over with crabs!!!!!! crabby crabby crabby crabby all dieeeeee!!! and i eat all the crabby crabby crabby crabby crabby. i'm so fool of crab/crap!

ahh...
there's some forum on social entrepreneurship @ NUS business school today.
as usual... we were late. about half an hour late for the forum... partly cos NUS is so huge, and we woke up late...
but we still get the portfolio entry and the free buffet lunch!! :D
and i spotted the same woman who was at the SMU family welfare thingy, which i also attended!!
went over and talked to her for a short while during the break. mmh... she's a very interesting woman...
oh, forgot to mentioned that only terry and i from TJC went for the forum... yeah
and there was this speaker Mr. William Ang, who i thought looked very very very like the the channel 8 actor's brother. during the talk, he said he broke up with his girlfriend this year. heeheee.... not bad looking and is in his 20s. =X

hahahahaha! this is the first time i'm at a public flea market!!
dear dear chiali had a booth at the flea market in loyang, and i went over to 'help' out ;)
simultaneously, there was a dog show a few meters down the booth! and there were booths that gave free notebooks and pens and etc!! annabelle the typical singaporean was a singaporean and took a lot a lot and even memorized all the answers to the energy saving quiz so she could win the notebook and pen <3
kisses to chiali's mom for being so nice to me :D
After a few hours, i had to rush home cos i had to go to jean's house for BBQ!
i <3 dexter fatty pom pom the golden retriver.
er jiu brought back some bottles of beer from UK.... nah... i prefer wine...
while the rest were playing volleyball, rach and i were waddling in the pool and eating hotdog. hahaha. then i was forced to learn some hokkien song which made me look like a total fool when i recited it in front of my aunties and uncles and cousins. shit! terrrrry!! teach me hokkien!!

I QUIT!!
so did terry....
it's not that the job's really tough, but it's because terry and i got competition next sat, and the boorish lady refused to be flexible.
i offered to work longer hours on another day instead, cannot.
i offered to swap days with another friend, cannot.
i offered to find a replacement for that day, cannot.
so too bad lor... i quit.
then the churl threatened to bring me to court, and send me legal letter.
fine... i'm not scared ;)
1. under the eyes of the law, i'm 15 not 16. i stated in the contract that i was born 22.12.92, but i still got the job. the minimum age for the job is 16, and the popular people will han-tam her.
2. the minimum age for a binding contract is 21.
3. since i'm under 16, i can also claim ignorance when signing the contract.
4. in the contract, there were 2 lines for the grouch and i to sign, but she didn't sign.
i didnt tell her lah, i just spoke with understanding and calm tone. hahahaha. but if she dare to sue me, i can counter-sue. hip hip hooray!!

today's the first day of work!!!!
@ the popular fair in suntec convention hall lvl 6
hehe. here's what i do.
the basket collectors push the trolley out and collect the baskets.
they pass the baskets to me, who then throw the items into the respective boxes.
that's it!! simple!!
then if we got nothing to do, we can help the basket collectors put the items back at the respective shelves, at the same time... i went to visit terry, shiyan, yuyang and ryan. hahahaha!

we had breakfast at the Amarin and shopping at platinum plaza. Things here are even cheaper than that in MBK! the average price for a dress is SGD 4-8, a tee SGD 5-10, a belt SGD 5-10. naturally, my typical singaporean instincts kicked in and i started walking around the complex squealing over the good bargains you cannot find in Singapore. on the way back, i saw a lady sitting on the walkway, carring a basket (similar to an NTUC basket) selling adorable baby bunnies with a tutu.
dinner was at an authentic thai restaurant filled with people from all over the world. obviously a lot of angmoh had been drinking thus the occasionally burst-into-a-loud-laughter scenario.
PS: tomorrow i will be reaching home (singapore) about midnight. That's when you can start smsing/calling me again.

i awoke to find mcdonalds big breakfast on my hotel room table. the mcdonalds here is much cheaper than what's in singapore, and the quality is way better too. also, they have burgers that will never ever be found in singapore - samurai pork burger. yummy.
it was a long walk to mahboonkong (MBK) from the hyatt and an even longer walk inside MBK. from my observation, there are a lot of all white stalls which sells all white clothes and all white buildings. another observation is that the people here have high tolerance for transsexuals. amazingly, most of these transsexuals are even nicer than ordinary females! the transsexual that sold me jeans had painted his/her nails bright neon pink, kept a nice long and golden brown wavy hair, put on red lipstick, wore tight black skinnies, red lipstick and a nice pair of earing. fascinating.
my legs ached (as usual) from all the walking from all the shopping, and in the end my mom and i went to enjoy a 2 hour thai massage at the amarin.
dinner was at a sushi restaurant in intercontinental hotel. the sashimi and foods were all very fresh. they served us this grey coloured jelly with black dots inside. my mom waved her hand and the lady came over. "Black pepper kinokuya" black pepper kinokunya?! cool!
back at the hotel, i went down two floors from my room to use the mac computer, wishing beiyi happy birthday. i am such a sweet friend, right?

it was pouring this morning so my relatively useless dog woke me up at 3am this morning. 5am i had to get out of my bed, bid the house and its remaining occupants goodbye and get into the cab that was waiting outside of my house under the heavy downpour.
outside the bangkok airport, there were cab drivers screaming their lungs out for passengers. apparently, from what i heard from the locals, they did not have a license. it was a long ride from the airport to the hotel - grand hyatt erawan bangkok. we checked in on the 17th floor and lady at the counter recognized my mom, and served us a glass of orange juice each (on the house). i'm staying in a special room, in the business floor which is not available to ordinary guests. my mom has 3 free nights here as she comes here so often she has choked up enough points to redeem them.
the room- beautiful, especially the toilet. the toilet is paved with marble floor and has 2 sets of lights. the first set of lights has one blub shining on the sink, one bulb shining on the bathtub, and one bulb on the toilet bowl. it creates this heavenly effect of the sacred toilet bowl saying: "come and use me."
we headed immediately to the chatukchak, where its only opened on the weekends. its an amazing nosy place there, and the sun is literally scorching hot. its much hotter than singapore. they sell all sorts of things there, from paintings to squirrels to food. one word- weird.
my leg was aching after weaving through the fascinating maze of wierdness and i went back to reside in the hotel. after about an hour, my mom brought us to amarin plaza where i had a thai massage. ahhh....
after dinner at koka (it originate here in thailand), i walked along the streetmarkets, where things are rowdy and beggars flooded the streets. those desperate beggars will step into your personal boundary and beg. at times like these, it is always good to know a few important thai phrase at hand. in preparation for a bumpy trip, i called waranya (a.k.a. ping, my thai secondary school buddy) and asked her how to say "dont kill/harm me", "i am one of you", "look there". Security here is rather tight. security guards and policemen are stationed at the walkways, bridges, and every entrance to the hotel. anyway, i have no fear as i have my handy phrases that will hopefully be enough to keep me breathing.

the room- beautiful, especially the toilet. the toilet is paved with marble floor and has 2 sets of lights. the first set of lights has one blub shining on the sink, one bulb shining on the bathtub, and one bulb on the toilet bowl. it creates this heavenly effect of the sacred toilet bowl saying: "come and use me."
we headed immediately to the chatukchak, where its only opened on the weekends. its an amazing nosy place there, and the sun is literally scorching hot. its much hotter than singapore. they sell all sorts of things there, from paintings to squirrels to food. one word- weird.
my leg was aching after weaving through the fascinating maze of wierdness and i went back to reside in the hotel. after about an hour, my mom brought us to amarin plaza where i had a thai massage. ahhh....
after dinner at koka (it originate here in thailand), i walked along the streetmarkets, where things are rowdy and beggars flooded the streets. those desperate beggars will step into your personal boundary and beg. at times like these, it is always good to know a few important thai phrase at hand. in preparation for a bumpy trip, i called waranya (a.k.a. ping, my thai secondary school buddy) and asked her how to say "dont kill/harm me", "i am one of you", "look there". Security here is rather tight. security guards and policemen are stationed at the walkways, bridges, and every entrance to the hotel. anyway, i have no fear as i have my handy phrases that will hopefully be enough to keep me breathing.

(i'm going to type this post in proper english.. so BEWARE!!)
I've been looking forward to this day!!!!
a day to sit back, relax, chill out, and enjoy a 'long & lazy seista'
i've concluded that i am more of a homely person, meaning i'd rather not meet face-to-face with people everyday of the week. Not that i'm anti-social, but i need to find that err... what they call it... inner peace (on the contrary, yoga is boring)
i've been facing people (other than family members and my maid and in school situations) on
20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31 october and 1,2,3 nov.
to simplify things, it'll be from 20 october to 3nov.. i like making people go bonkers :P
woke up at 12 noon, skipped breakest and tucked directly into my porkchop.
sat back on me couch and read the book i borrowed yesterday whilst sipping away my apple cider vinegar drink (i'd love to have wine instead, but that's the best substitute available in the house at the moment)
confabulated with angeline for two hours, before ringing terry for 26min and then chiali for another 20+min
Life cant get any better than this

i had to wake up at 6am this morning, go to school, submit the subject combi, and then make my way back home.
so i was so tired, i fell asleep on my couch, when terry and chiali made a grand entrance into my home, waking me from my sleep part 2 :(
after that, i went to the library
(CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? ANNABELLE IS ACTUALLY GOING TO A LIBRARY!!)
i havent borrow a book from a public library since sec 2, where i borrowed the book TROY cos i was supposed to read it before my life in TA begun...
but i only read like 1/4 of it before resorting to troy the movie starrin
g bradpitt, orlandobloom, etc. <3
yup. i was after the book Dont You Know Who Am I by Piers Morgan.
i found his book sandwiched between 2 of jeremy clarkson book (i think the librarian did that on purpose, cos both of them arent on very good terms with each other)
the book's a good read, and it'll certainly pull up me english standards.
well actually.. it's part of my personal celebrity research programme where i will go into detailed research of certain celebrities ;)
PS: there is a flying ant that is racing up and down my tablet screen. It's breaking all the rules of the game, cos it isnt supposed to take shortcuts. You know what i mean?

wait, must start off slowly first
this morning i woke up super duper early (7.30am) and i had to walk all the way from my cousin's house to kembangan MRT station. and it was raining!
terry told me that there was exoro competition training at SMU, in the end she got it wrong... it was some family talk thingy dicussing about the falling birth rates. ARGH!!!
alamak, so in the end i went along for the talk lor, since several TJCians didnt turn up
MINISTER FOR DEFENCE WAS THERE!!!! as a guest speaker during the forum/dialogue session.
Mr Teo was looking at me most of the time, expecting me to say something marvellous and impress the whole crowd (i think cos i was the only one wearing the temasek academy jacket mah) but then i didnt have the courage to speak up, in case it isnt impressive enough...
AH!!!!
then immediately after the dialogue session, after he talk abit to the organisers, HE CAME TO ME AND STRIKE A CONVERSATION WITH ME!! TO ME!! WITH ME!!!!
i was the only one in the floor (floor got quite a lot of people) that he talked to, other than terry who go and cha zui, come and add herself into my convo with him although he was talking to me, not to her. but then he didnt talk to her much lah :D
then he stretch out his hand to me, then i take out my right hand and shake his hand!!
then of course he had to shake terry's hand (cos she was beside me and she was staring at him) and andrea's hand (cos she was beside terry and she was also staring at him)
