CASHFLOW COMPETITION DAY
competition venue: millenia walk
problem: i dont know how to get there...
BIGGER problem: terry and i arrived 15 min later (only) than the arranged meetup time @ cityhall mrt, so the rest left without us...
solution: terry and i walked for more than 35 min (*!@*@!#*!#!@)
takeaway: we developed social interaction skills by asking A LOT of people for directions (including a foreigner that looked (to me) like a singaporean)
pre-competition
problem: we came late, so no more goodie bags (damnn....)
solution: terry goes to toilet, while i interrogate person-in-charge for goodie bag
takeaway: i got the last goodie bag, and terry got none :)
goodie bag
description: it was an entrepreneur-y competition, and they gave a goodie bag from some dating company?!
problem: my goodie bag didnt have the date-o-meter card (it's this card with a heat sensitive pad that changes colour to your feelings at the moment... something similar to a mood ring)
solution: pester zhan quan for his date-o-meter card!
takeaway: i can use the card to check if people are telling lies!
competition
problem: i'm competiting in a game that i dont know how to play...
BIGGER problem: competiting with dunman high and acsi (!!they know how to play the game!! AH!!)
solution: play like a dumb blonde :D
takeaway:
1. i got to sit beside a rather cute acsi guy
2. 3 out of 4 guys pass the dice to me when it's my turn about 95% of the time! :D
(the 4th guy very kiampa... he take the game very seriously)
3. the facilitator kept trying to give me extra money!! (but i didnt take okay... i have integrity!! hmph!! **angeline must be sniggering right now**)
- he wanted to give me $80,000 for my shares, but #!**@#@ terry go and tell him that he supposed to give me $8,000 only
- he returned my change when i paid him exactly for my doodads (doodads are an unneccesary mean for money to fly away quickly. eg. i had to pay $600 to repaint a house although i didnt have a house)
- he kept on trying to give me extra monthly income although i had a child (fictional child... i had 2 children, terry had 3, and yuyang had 4.... *they really should have birth control options and orphanages*)
- he doesnt really count the money i pass to him, so i could short-change him... BUT i didnt! integrity my friend, integrity!
post-competition
problem: almost everybody left.. most TJCians and a few unknown aliens
takeaway: during the quiz where only those whoes names are drawn can answer, the man drew names of people who arent here... so it's open to the floor! WHOOPEE! i won 2 golden village tickets!!! :))))))))) terry won $10 tangs voucher (i told her the right answer lor...)
hahahahaha! i got 2 golden village tickets!! plus discount for the combos!!
aiya.. sian of doing problem and takeaway and etc. liao...
anyway after the competition, kenneth was super duperly hungry until he thought about eating a slipper at muji. and the guys came out with an EVIL scheme to make terry and i walk fast so that they can go to the food venue quicker.
they---> walked very fast all of a sudden and overtake terry and i
terry & i---> not happy... so we walk even faster and overtake them
they---> started to run
we---> also started to run
some of the they---> started walking
terry---> still running to beat those that are running
while i---> started walking when i confirm with those that are walking that this is a scheme to make us walk faster.

the time taken to get back from the millenia tower to city hall mrt was so fast!! *i feel so cheated*
anyway on the way back, we passed by this chao ji nice red sports ferrari car. i took a pic with it :D (although i'm not a car fanatic)
